Lindley Hall. The Geology building at KU.

Our front door at sunrise. Don't worry, these students are atypically dedicated.

	The Lawrence Campus is very beautiful. This is our Natural History Museum.
	Researchers in the natural sciences can get their names on buildings here.
	The campus is full of old stone buildings...
	... made from the Oread Limestone, ...
	... and green spaces with a view - here we are looking out over the Wakarusa River floodplain.
	We have cool plants here (in season)...
	... and great libraries all year 'round; this is the science library, Anschutz.
	Naturally, we have students...
	... but the campus isn't too crowded.
	KU is a nice blend of buildings and nature...



	... and interesting sidewalks - well, one at least. Maybe they will make more soon. This one (left) is outside the Kansas Union (right), where student services, a bookstore and cafeterias are.



	(Left) True, some say it is HOT in Kansas . . . (Right) . . . but others say it is COLD. REAL Kansans say that if one doesn't suit you, just wait a day and you will probably get the other.



	We have trees,ivy, and columns...



	... the Oregon Trail ...

... but no wheat in sight... though you can get to it quickly enough if that is what you want..
