POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS:  Developmental neurobiology of C. elegans.  NIH-funded post-doctoral positions immediately available to study the molecular and genetic mechanisms of nervous system development in C. elegans.  PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, neurobiology, biochemistry, genetics,or related field required along with experience with genetic and molecular techniques (not necessarily C. elegans).  Candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program. Potential projects include mechanisms of Rho-family GTPase signal transduction to the cytoskeleton during axon pathfinding and neuronal migration, and specification of neuronal fate by the Six5 class of homeodomain transcription factors.
