Catalog Course Description

An introduction to controls for building mechanical systems. Discussions of the theory, design, and equipment used for control systems. The benefits of pneumatic, electrical, and electronic (DDC) controls will be examined. Prerequisite: ARCE 660, or consent of the instructor.

Required or Elective Course?

This is an elective course for upper-level undergraduates and all graduate engineering students. It is three credit-hours of engineering design.
