Kansas Applied Remote Sensing (KARS) Program
For the last 4 years I have been employed as a Graduate Research Assistant at KARS. I've worked on several interesting projects including the KansasView program, an EPA hydrologic modeling project, the Kansas Satellite Image Database and currently on an EPSCoR-funded grant entitled "Forecasting Ecological Change in the Central Great Plains".
WebGIS and FOSS4G
The concept of using the web for geographic analysis has been a favored topic of mine lately. As a result, I have been focused on learning how to do it using both proprietary and open-source tools.
