Dances of Universal Peace
Lawrence, Kansas

These dances "acknowledge and celebrate the thread of unity throughout all religious paths and philosophies, the message of Love, Harmony and Beauty. This thread reflects universal laws, such as the Golden Rule, which appear in the sacred texts of the world's religions. It is our spiritual quest to see the Divine, the Only Being, in all the many names and forms which have been presented to mankind by the Masters, Saints and Prophets of all ages. We seek to infuse spirituality into everyday life, wherein peace is possible, non-violence is natural, and tolerance is a way of life." - Sufi Order of Austin

If anybody asks you, "What is Sufism? What religion is it?", you may answer,
"Sufism is the religion of the heart, the religion in which the most important thing
is to seek God in the heart of humankind.
" - Hazrat Inayat Khan

Message from Terri Karima-Gita:
I am anticipating traveling during the summer months to visit family in Michigan
and to journey to the Netherlands to the International Sufi Movement Summer School.
Hence, the Circle of Remembrance will not meet this June and July.

You are all in my heart and thoughts until we gather again.

Upon my return from the Netherlands at the end of July,
