Conference Publications: 33 (Updated 4/1/2011)
My key research focuses on quantifying, applying and implementing environmental and social impacts of design, products and projects that normally include:
(1) knowledge mining; (2) causality models between impacts and outcomes; (3) improving reliability of environmental and social impacts prediction and accounting; and (4) streamlining environmental and social models for application and implementation.
My key research crosses path with:
(1) Sustainable Design and Project Planning; (2) Eco-efficiency; (3) Technical Metabolism; (4) Energy Efficiency; (5) Sustainable Information Modeling; (6) Socio-Economics of Eco-Efficient Communities; (7) Corporate-Society Sustainability Interface; (8) Life Cycle Performance; (9) Building Information Modeling; (10) Social and Human Dimensions; (11) Carbon Management and Baseline Estimating; and (12) Carbon Taxation and Cap and Trade.
In addition, I also conduct research in Professional Development for the Estimating Professions, Business Operations, and Construction Productivity Research. My publications are mainly in the areas of building defects, sustainability, lean and sustainability, and social-human dimensions.
