Postdoctoral Positions Available
Postdoctoral fellows are sought to pursue structural studies of protein
complexes involved in bacterial and viral pathogenesis in the group
of Dr. Roberto De Guzman at the University of Kansas.
This NIH-funded multidisciplinary
research offers opportunities for close collaboration among NMR
(De Guzman), crystallography and cryoEM (Liang Tang), and computational
methods (Wonpil Im).
We are seeking candidates with strong background in structural or biophysical
methods who wish to receive cross training as well as gain extensive
experience in biology.
We have a Bruker 800 and a Varian 600 (both with cryoprobes), as well
as facilities for crystallography and cryoEM, and cluster computing
available on campus. The university is located in Lawrence, a college
town of about 100,000 people, 45 minutes from Kansas City.
Send inquiries or CV to Roberto De Guzman (Email:rdguzman@ku.edu).
