Interested in Joining Our Lab?

Our research group includes undergraduate students who help with various projects. Undergraduates may work as volunteers or they may receive course credit. Our goal is to help students gain experience that will benefit their understanding of the process of psychological research, and more practically, to benefit their application for post-graduate work.

Many students in the Cognitive-Clinical lab have gone on to doctoral programs in clinical psychology (e.g., KU, UCLA, SDSU/UCSD, North Carolina, Colorado State, Oregon, Nebraska, etc.). Others have gone to master's programs, MSW programs, law school, and medical school.

Students should expect to work in the lab for at least 2 semesters, and should be reliable and motivated. Students are expected to enroll in Independent Study (Psyc 480)

If you are interested in joining the lab, please complete an application form and e-mail it as an attachment to Tiffany Meites <tmeites@ku.edu>. You may also drop off the application in our lab office in 335 Fraser, or can send the relevant information to Dana without the actual form. We also request a current copy of your ARTS form. We typically conduct  interviews before the Fall semester begins. Although we prefer that students start in the Fall, we do sometimes take students before the Spring semester.
