Welcome to my KU web page! I finished a BA in International Agricultural Development from MidAmerica Nazarene University in May of 2001. Before coming to KU I spent two years working with the Russian Studies Program in the beautiful city of Nizhnii Novgorod. I started my official studies of Slavic languages and literatures in the fall of 2003 and completed the MA in May of 2005. Currently I am preparing for PhD comprehensive exams, scheduled for this semester (Spring 07). The time has gone by quickly! In December I presented a paper at the AATSEEL conference entitled “Empire and Identity in D. A. Prigov’s cycle Moskva i moskvichi.” I am hoping this piece of research will be the first step towards a dissertation on the “Moscow Text” of Russian literature. |
