Uniaxial Shake Table
A 40 in × 40 in uniaxial shake table is located at the West Campus Structural Testing Laboratory. The shake table has a maximum payload of 1 tonne (2200 lb) at 2g maximum acceleration. The maximum frequency of operation and stroke are 80 Hz and ±5 in, respectively. The shake table enables dynamic testing of small scale structures to understand their dynamic behavior, the development of structural health monitoring algorithms, and validation of innovative wireless smart sensor networks.
